Your first appointment is made over the phone or in-person during a complementary 15 minute consultation. Simply leave a voicemail or text and Lyn will call you back. The discussion will be on the reasons you're seeking massage therapy and how Lyn can help you.
For her peace of mind, she prefers this initial conversation for it's a more personal and pleasant way to introduce ourselves and connect with one another.
At your first visit, expect to be here a bit longer for you will fill out an intake packet that includes health history and possible contraindications. Followed by a discussion of your goals and expectations for the session.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:
"First Time Grace" given for the first same day cancellation.
Please cancel or reschedule ASAP or up to 48 HOURS notice to avoid a 100% service fee.
Cancel the day before is a 50% service fee.
Cancel the Same Day or a No Show is a 100% service fee.
Payment of Fees: The service fee covers the expense of the service reserved upon booking. The service fee is due within 24 hours of the original date of the session. No payment: future sessions will not be scheduled and any future scheduled sessions are cancelled until the service fee is paid in full. Late payment: future scheduled sessions may or may not need to be prepaid. Multiple cancellations and no shows may indicate the need to seek a practitioner whose schedule is more compatible with yours.
Punctuality: If you arrive late, your treatment may be modified and the time shortened.
Sickness: Massage therapy/Bodywork is not appropriate care for an infectious or contagious illness. Kindly cancel or reschedule, as soon as you're thinking you're sick, and take good care of yourself. Note: Lyn would rather lose an hour's pay than two+ weeks worth should she get sick.
